Héctor "Tiño" Resnik
from Puerto Madryn, Pablo Querol and Matías Soriano from
Trelew, they always been related with the outdoor life style and
nautical activities. Tiño started at 18 on diving and boats.
His first steps in the tourism business were a job in the whale
watching activity for a travel agency and he moved to El Calafate
in 1996 to work as the captain of one of the cruises on the lake
Argentino travelling the glaciers. Tiño and Pablo always
wanted to have their own proyect that's why in December 1999 they
started to design the Leal Cruise which was built in San Fernando.
During the first months they were travelling periodically from Puerto
Madryn and after those months Tiño decided to stay in a house
in the Delta together with the workers in order to finish all the
details of the cruise giving its actual appearence. During this
time Matías joined to this proyect. In February of 2001,
the ship was finished and they navigated to Puerto Madryn starting
the operation as expedition support and diving. They decided to
move to El Calafate by the end of 2003 to navigate the lake Argentino
with their so called program 'The Spirit of the Glaciers'. With
a redesigned interior, adapted to offer the best confort and enough
room for 14 passengers they started to operate this program on September,
2004. |
