To the south of Neuquén
Province, a mountain village appears. It is located on the north-west
bank of Nahuel Huapi Lake, in the Patagonian Andes Range. Three
mountains outstand in the area: Bayo (1782 m), Inacayal (1840 m),
and Belvedere (1992 m). Surrounded by these mountains, this town
unfolds its tranquillity and beauty, being the gateway to Arrayanes
National Park, the only one in the world, where there is a natural
wood of this tree species.
Woods, lakes and mountains are features of Villa La Angostura environment.
Standing between Bariloche and San Martin de Los Andes (north) -
both places world-wide known for their skiing resorts and natural
marvels - make Villa La Angostura a stop for the tourist visiting
this area.
Its hotel infrastructure, its proximity to Bariloche airport and
the enchantment of its “hosterías”, most of them
by the lake, make this village an ideal place for a real rest.
